SF Freeride is a family-run snowcat skiing and snowboarding operation based in the heart of Pelister National Park, North Macedonia. Designed for passionate skiers and riders seeking untouched powder, breathtaking alpine terrain, and a personalized experience, SF Freeride offers guided access to some of the most pristine backcountry slopes in the Balkans.

Your base for this adventure is the Hotel Sumski Feneri, a charming mountain hotel just 7 km from the city of Bitola and perfectly positioned at the foot of Pelister. Owned and operated by the same family behind SF Freeride, the hotel offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere with comfortable rooms, breathtaking mountain views, and a rich blend of traditional Macedonian and international cuisine. After a full day in the snow, you can relax by the fireplace, enjoy local wines, or unwind in the peaceful forest surroundings.

Enjoy 4 full days of guided cat skiing on untouched slopes in Pelister, explore the slopes of Kaimaktsalan Ski Center in Greece, soak in the thermal waters of Loutraki, and end your journey with a visit to the Tikveš wine region—renowned for producing some of the Balkans' finest wines. With all transfers, accommodation, professional guides, and most meals included, this package offers an unforgettable way to experience the best of both Macedonia and northern Greece, on and off the mountain.

It consists:

• 2 day cat skiing National Park Pelister
• 3 day cat skiing National Park Pelister
• 4 day Visit to Kaimaktsalan Ski Center in Greece, with skiing in the first part of the day, followed by a visit to the Loutraki Hot Springs and a late lunch in Loutraki. Alternatively, this day can be used entirely for rest and relaxation at the hot springs. Transfers and guides are included, while the ski pass and lunch in Loutraki are not included.

03. Balkan Ski Safari – 6 Days of Cat Skiing Adventure

(3 Days Shar Mountain + 3 Days Pelister Mountain | €1880 per person | Minimum 4 persons)

Embark on an unforgettable Balkan Ski Safari, a unique 9-day journey featuring 6 full days of cat skiing across two of the most spectacular freeride destinations in North Macedonia: the rugged Shar Mountain and the scenic wilderness of Pelister National Park.

This adventure is designed for experienced skiers and riders looking to explore deep powder, wide open alpine terrain, and untouched backcountry lines – all supported by professional guides and snowcat transport. Enjoy the contrast between the alpine terrain of Shar and the forested slopes of Pelister, with a rest day in between to recharge or transfer directly between the two locations.

The package includes accommodation, most meals, transfers, and guiding – everything you need for a seamless, high-adrenaline mountain experience.
